Worlita L. Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor with more than 30 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while fostering hope, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Worlita recently retired from the DeSoto Parish School Board after more than 26 years of service, where she provided leadership in school-based mental health, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and behavioral health services. Her extensive experience also includes outpatient behavioral health, hospital social work, telehealth counseling, and community-based mental health services. Her clinical areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and behavioral challenges.
She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual. A lifelong resident of DeSoto Parish, Worlita is passionate about improving access to quality mental health care and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered services that empower individuals and families to achieve lasting emotional wellness.
