Mikki was born and raised in Elm Grove, a small town south of Bossier City, Louisiana which fueled her passion for working in rural communities. She holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana since 2013. Over the course of her career, Mikki has worked with people dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. In her down time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog, Moose. Mikki believes in the importance of family, community, and treating everyone with kindness.
